Social disaster!

Psychotic father that chastises everything
Abuses such wounded souls
Mother blind cant find her ways
And does what she's acquainted with
Blessed with a daughter
Sent from heavens above
No harm done just warmth n' love
From day one there was such neglect
No feelings nothing to care and no contact
Duties were done but that was all
Then back to their lives
Cries of hunger cries for love
Engulf the air
The room still stays calm
Deny the existence of this creation
Father with no respect
Each day making his iniquity mind shoddier
Mother still blind as can be
Still ashamed to articulate
The one they were suppose to love n' care for
Daughter is now 10 years-of-age
Locked in a dark dampened room
Chained to a chair that sets in the core of a room
Crucial looks mumbled sounds
No words to be found
Barely able to keep up her head
But no more cries are found
She is the girl of social disaster
Not knowing how to act or respond
Touching herself in inappropriate places
No discipline more or less no life
For such a blessing this family has put to shame
Skinny as a rail
Fragile as glass
No awareness of what love could possible be
Or what a family is
Hell nor will she ever recall having a life
Father finally put to his best
Not taking his own disaster
Bang bang- time has come
Mother in some disbelief
Never thought this day would come
Now she can exclaim/tattle on the one she once adored
A call was made she turned in her obsolete husband
Ding ding- open door people running in
To some chance to recover this unwanted soul
Mother feeling guilty whe hadn't let this out sooner
For a life to actually live
But now the young girl is in good hands
After many years she has not recovered
Still mumbled sounds
Violent rages have occurred
From no love to hatred

Oh how sorry I am to read of your neglect. I can truly relate to your life, because mine was the same. Either the dark cement basement or the cold bathroom was my cage. Both parents agreed that I was not good enough to be born......What kind of persons would you and I have become if we hadn't been raised the way we were? That's what always goes through my head.
Even though now, they are both dead!
Merciless poem......but well deserved......
I know.......I've walked your path long ago.
love you and send many hugs

when i read poems like this it makes me feel raw inside and angry, angry that in this day and age human beings are still suffering in such appaling conditions. This is a very good poem issues like this are not highlighted enough.
