Drunk as a Skunk

Contributed by geoffreyalanbest on Sunday, 18th April 2004 @ 01:49:44 AM in AEST
Topic: drugabuse

Smell, oh, smell, bad, look
No I see, what did he that him, yeah
Ya going, ya going, come on buddy, come on lets get going
Where, what now, what, oh
Yeah buddy look at all night why don't ya
I saw you before, yeah I know you
Listen you're a good person, I know, I know
Where buddies right, an't we, its all about buddies
I'm loaded, I'm really really loaded.
Yeah, I know man like everything is like
Lets down her all the way, take her down, wowo!
Look at her take it down, wow
Ya know right its all like this every bit of it, everything
I feel kinda sick, give her all she had
Come on, come on too early to quit old buddy.
Give her all she got till she an't got no more
yeah, give her all she got, wowo
Tomorrow I may never say it again but tonight we are all comrades and friends
It is funny that when your drunk as a skunk your all comrades and friends
Tip the glass towards fraternity let it not grow old with sobriety
What did you just say to me?
Buddy you looking at me
Whats the matter with you?
I didn't do nothing!
You pushed me
I never
He pushed me!
You leave him alone
Don't you go tilling me what to do
I say whatever I want
Don;t you go tilling me and my friends what to do!
I'll say whatever I want!

You conveyed attitudes relevant to drunkenness with good effect, and a personal twist, which I appreciate.
Keep writing.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
