Cannibal.
A dismal gush of the wind,
And a melancholy cry from the corpse
He carried with him,
As he stepped into the vastness of his room;
Thy bloody excruciating inn.
Slammed the body down,
Like a heavy hammer
Upon a nail,
With such stupendous power,
Thy feeble body, did not prevail.
Gathered the strewn parts,
Of a body
Which belonged to human male,
Slit it open,
And weighed the organs in his scale.
Of the two kidneys,
One he would consume
For supper,
And the other, should he choose,
He would send as a gift, to his mother.
His face lit up,
As he came upon
The viable heart;
Thy red globe of blood,
The culmination of anatomical art.
Prepared the table,
Seemingly replete
With ‘elegant’ cutlery;
A sickening triple knife,
And a chainsaw, if things got too crusty.
The bloody heart,
Placed in the midst
Along with two kidneys beside, (He finally decided to keep them both!)
Collaborated with lettuce and carrots;
All things he could abide…
