Busted: Hearts and Radios

Contributed by morelikelyrics on Saturday, 17th April 2004 @ 09:29:17 PM in AEST
Topic: SongLyrics

A broken record player is all I have,
To feed your emotional denial,
And I play my guitar all night long,
Because I intend,
To replace the busted tuning dial...

So here I play a little tune, to sooth your beating heart,
Every night's sunlit moon, to move your bleeding soul,
Every days' sunlight rays, to groove to the beat of your heart.

And the most beautiful lyrics won't heal,
The most gruesome scars,
But this song just might might be,
The one to stich your heart...

For in two it was,
Seperate pieces bleeding, severed,
But now it's time,
To sew it back, again together.

And the most appealing styles can't conceal,
The two bleeding parts,
But this tune just might be,
The one to stich your heart...

And a broken record player is all I have,
To feed your emotional denial,
And I play my guitar all night long,
Because I intend,
To replace the busted tuning dial...

For in two it was,
Seperate pieces bleeding, severed,
But now it's time,
To sew it back, and love forever.

*sigh* More... how could i even try to explain in words how wonderful this poem is? It would make a beautiful song... something I would put on repeat. Great Lyrics.

I agree this is one of your best.

"And the most beautiful lyrics won't heal,
The most gruesome scars,
But this song just might might be,
The one to stich your heart..."

I read that stanza and wished for a moment that I had been inspired to write such a piece.

Priceless this is and remarkable.

Well done.

Kie
