Blameless for her crimes,
She meanders through time,
Destiny unsure,
Continuity assured.
Her sweet kiss caresses valleys,
Her cold breath seduces sailors,
To follow her path,
Then serenity returns.
Her screaming battle cry,
Heard by all,
Feared by most,
Mother's barked threat.
Sun baked plateaus,
Welcome her familiar tickle,
Anger becomes relief,
As her army departs.
Destruction and devastation twinned,
We choose to see,
But worlds need her,
Like old favours returned.
Like all true form,
Her beauty is free,
God's infinite plan,
defies shape or control.
