selfstruggles

Her childhood was good
Her childhood was bad
With her dad
Yelling at her brother
Them at it everyday
How could she stay
Her brother would scream
He would throw things
She would cry up in her room
Hoping it would be over soon
At age 18
He smokes pot
Shes still sad a lot
Could she concentrate in school
No she could not
Her sister did drugs
She had so many problems
And she drank too much
How could this little girl
Take such *****
She could never admit
How things would change
One night, her sister crawls out the window
Telling her sister to cover for her
So she wouldnt get caught
Her father walks in
The blames on her
She didnt want to go through
Anymore

I found this poem heartwrenchingly sad.
It touched my heart.
