MY HEART FEELS AS ABANDONED AS THE WILTED WILDFLOWERS GROWING IN DRIED UP PATCHES OF GRASS ON THE SIDE OF A PAVED ROAD.
I FEEL AS DESOLATE AS THE CACTUS MUST FEEL OUT THERE IN THE HOT BARRON DESERT.
IT BECAME SO REAL TO ME
SHE'S TRULY THERE AND YOU'RE THERE WITH HER!
I FELT A SHARP PAIN-
A SINKING SHIP IN A VAST OCEAN-
NOWHERE TO GO -
NOT AN ISLAND IN SIGHT.
I'M STRUGGLING TO STAY ABOVE THESE ENORMOUS WAVES-
THAT SEEM TO ENGULF MY SOUL AT SUCH A RAPID PACE.............
I SEE YOUR FACE..........
I FEEL LIKE A STORM-
TURNING
CHURNING
A TWISTING OF EMOTION!
I TOUCH THE SUN AND BURN WITH PAIN.........
YOU CUT ME AS I TOUCH YOU-------
