I question this Life

Topic: Lifepoems

The other day I looked at myself in the mirror,
Only me, I didn't see.
There was no reflection of my body.
I shuttered in fear,
And asked the lord am I even here?
Am I real, or just a figment or someone's thoughts.
Could it be that I'm not myself,
More of a puppet in a show.
Being played and preyed upon.
Not being able to control my destiny.
Do people even see me when they talk to me?
How is it that something so real can become so questionable in a matter of seconds?
I question this life,
And what it is all about.
Maybe I was supposed to find some doubt.
To make me realize,
That I'm not even close to what I think I am.
I'm only a hoax, being played and preyed upon.
I also wonder who could be decieving me,
Twisting my fate into a knot of falsities.
Could it be God?
I thought God was sin free.
I thought maybe he would help me,
Figure out what I need to know.
To survive this life,
To make it through.
But maybe not,
So I question this life.
This life that I "live".
Or rather am destined.
To be whatever I am supposed to be.
What if my whole life had been already planned out?
What if what I'm living for isn't even there?
If this is true, then should I even care?
Then there's a chance,
That I'm not even here.
Just floating by,
Catching a glimpse,
A taste of what could be.
If things were perfcet, absolute glee.
So I guess I'll continue to wonder,
Where to go and what to do,
As I question this life.
And I question you too.
