Noone understands
exactly the way I feel,
I can't trust
anyone around me.
I've been hurt
so many times,
how am I supposed
to change the way
I feel deep in my soul?
I've been betrayed....
I've been heartbroken....
my soul has been scarred.
This tragedy I feel inside
within my heart,
I have to find
some way to ease the pain.
I am a very
senstive person...
I tend to take
things too seriously.
Am I wrong
to feel this way?
I think not.

I think poets are in general a sensitive lot. It is hard to trust when you've been heard time and time again. But keep in mind that a few bad apples don't make the whole tree bad. There are good people out there that are worthy of trust.
