Friends No More

Contributed by Kirby on Saturday, 17th April 2004 @ 12:09:14 PM in AEST
Topic: AngryPoetry

In the blessed morning of the sunlight
My heart flutters at the sight of a new day
And then I realize that nothing is as it seems.
One thing that I hate is you right now.

Friends since we were in 3rd grade
You were the best ever…so I thought.
Now you are a drug user and a slut.
You don’t ever call.
You don’t even talk to me in the mornings.
You hug me like we are ok.
But even our friend has said for you to call me.

When the sun set on my life on the 26th.
You were there for me.
Then you left me like it was nothing.

Do you realize how you hurt me?
I leave July 16th forever.
You are just making it so easy for me to leave.
So I will say that to you…
The day has set on us.
Tomorrow I will wake up…
And you will not be in my heart anymore.
