Suicide

Her tears fall to the cold dead floor
Thudding so loud she covers her ears
They fall playing and dancing to the ground
They have been for the past five years
She stares at the sharp piece of glass
That snuggles in the palm of her hand
Creating patterns of blotchy dark red
Slipping through her fingers like soft smooth sand
It mixes with the tears on the cold dead floor
And too soon to realise its all been taken
All her love and trust falls with it
And her kindness and happy thoughts are foresaken
She still stares at the glass in her hand
It helps her lose all the pain from within
Her eyes are now covered with all her hurt
And she realises that life is just a sin
She is now drained and ready to leave
Laying on the cold dead floor
Waiting for what she never wanted to stop
And feel hurt and pain no more
