I'll take your blood
And give you mine,
Trade in the old for the new.
I'll heal your wounds
Since you've created mine
And I will die for you.
I'll wipe your tears
And pour out mine,
Trade in the old for the new.
I'll mend your heart
And surrender mine,
And I will cry for you.
I have healed your wounds
And dried your tears
And comforted you in your loss
And these things I have been doing for you
Have all been done through the cross.
