Lestat De Lioncourt

Topic: DarkPoetry

Above all we are a mystery
We are myths, legends, folklore, unknown knowledge,
And an untold story
But we do exist, and we walk among you,
Like a mist
I come from a bloodline like no other
What kind is that you wonder
Well let me fill you in, and let your imagination begin
Lestat De Lioncourt is my name
And this is how I became
I am the son born to darkness courtesy of Magnus
I am the father of Claudia, Gabrielle,
Nicki, and Louis
I was responsible for the dissolution of the Paris coven,
In which I clashed in my first year as a vampire
For I thought no one was any higher
I had earned both the hatred, and the love
Of the coven leader Armand
I am not someone you that you can
Wish for to go away, with a magic wand
I am also partly to blame for the awakening
of Akasha in the late 1980s,
I am and will be all that was ever written about me
And all that may be written about me in times to come
I am beyond fiction. I am the here and now
I am not here to be what you want me to be
I am here because I am willing, and because I have
Things to say
They may not jive with your concept of what I should say
Or who I should be, but if you can mold me into something
Other than what I am, then bravo for you
And shouldn’t you see something about that God complex
Don’t box me, don’t label me, don’t expect anything
Just listen, and know what I give you
For your way of living will feel new
I am a very deadly predator,
Who can take your life whenever I choose
For you are no match, and are sure to lose
I watch you while you sleep
And I hear every tear drop when you weep
I listen to your heart pounding
When you are scared, and in an unfamiliar surrounding
I hear your cries when no one else listens
I am the one who holds the key to life
For which you are missing
I am Lestat De Lioncourt
And I can take you from a life that is so short
I can offer you life of eternity
And make you see, what it is like to be me
Just look towards your window sill
Each time your curtain moves
And that’s when you will know
That I stand in your room
You will feel the shivers up and down your spine
And the hairs upon your head stand high
Or when you are walking through the park
On a beautiful moonlit night in the dark
That is when you will catch that beautiful spark
From my marbled fangs,
As they clench to your neck, and sink deeply into
Your juggler vain
Don’t think this will never happen, cause it just may
On that beautiful evening while you are out walking
Just remember I am watching
Whatever you do never look behind you
To find the sound that you heard
And I tell you now, I show no mercy
For I am only here, to take your life
And to watch you die slowly
