_______________________
Ice evicted, set free to sail
Paper boats navigate the pond
Slick with mud and springtime
Air still cold on my pink cheeks
Buds on the maple trees
And robins building nests
Signs of renewal, begin again
Soft sunlight caresses bared limbs
So long covered by winter’s wool
Pale and vulnerable in the sun
Drinking in the divine spark of daylight
Relishing the greenness beneath our feet
Applauding her long awaited arrival
Spring waltzes in her diaphanous gown

Lovely. Lovely. Your images are always so intriguing and beautiful. Reminds me of when I lived in the far north.
