Barrier of the Concentric Psychosis

Contributed by strange_lindsey on Friday, 16th April 2004 @ 02:02:05 AM in AEST
Topic: psychoticpoems

Screwed up perception demented and warped
Sly advantages trace your eyes in the dark
Flat liners, no pulse when you're strapped to a bed
Tracing the images you imagine in your head.

Skinny-dipping into waters mirrored in blue
Tangled in ropes and nooses in a darkened room
Fighting the shadows of beasts on the wall
Hesitate for a minute and forever you fall

Timid terrain sprouting new top of the line
In the trendiest fashions you commit all your crimes
Suck in the polluted brownish burning air
Extrude the brackish remains of dispair.

Stupid me i put quotes around my authors note and its supposed to say... Inspired by the book "Choke" by Chuck Palahnuik. "I want to be some place between happiness and sadness. You never see fish agonized by wild mood swings. Sponges never have a bad day."

Never read the book myself. Is it any better than 'Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas'?

Anyway, I like your rhyme scheme here, as it infects me with a darkness so foul, as it squirms around the images you convey. Like it, Lindsey.
Good job.

I like to balance on the tight rope, this brings it together. Thanks for sharing.
