WHISPER OF THE WIND
IN THE WHISPERS OF THE WIND,
YOUR CALLING VOICE I HEAR AGAIN.
RATHER FAINT, BUT EVER CLEAR,
HAUNTING DRAWING ME SO NEAR.
CAUTIOUSLY I START TO WALK,
DEEPER, AND DEEPER INTO THE DARK.
DESPERATE FOR WHAT DRAWS ME HERE,
SUROUNDED BY ONLY FEAR.
WHAT I SEEK SEEMS SO FAR AWAY,
WILL THE WIND LEAD THE WAY?
OR WILL I BE FOREVER LOST?,
FOR RIGHT NOW IT SEEMS A TOSS.
WILL YOUR VOICE EASE FROM MY MIND?,
I GUESS I’LL ONLY KNOW IN TIME.
BUT FOR NOW I STILL HEAR YOU IN THE WIND,
OVER AND OVER, TIME AND AGAIN.

I really found this beautiful and so fulll of emotion while you seem so empty, or maybe that was me. But I like. |

BEAUTIFUL!!!Not only did you manage to make it rhyme....you kept the same theme throughout the whole thing. I enjoyed how it was empty...and heartfelt at the same time with an eerie twist. I'll look forward to reading more of your work. |
