Sweet peace,
Blessed Fulfillment,
Happiness, deep in my soul.
Contentment,
Comforting reassurance,
God’s promises making me whole.
Soothing
Tender loving care,
Shelter found in his arms.
Omnipresence,
Impossibility of failure,
God’s promises keeping me from harm.
Conviction,
Forgiveness,
Unbelievable grace.
Divine mercy,
Unmerited favor,
God promises to take my place.

| Great write. i truely enjoyed this poem. It evokes emotion. Just to answer the question above about knowing God is a man. One doesn't, it is merely an assumption made by others. He could very well be female. I cannot recall a place in the bible where it claims him to be just male, correct me if I am wrong. The only thing he says is he is the great IAM. Everything. Probably male and female in theory. Many people asume he is male because he says he created man in his image. However one tends to think, by man, he means the human race and not just the male beings, therefore, to me this assumption is nullified. But nonetheless, whether he is male or female, he is still God, and his sex has nothing to do with his awesome power, so i do not question it. I hope this has somewhat helped. God Bless. |
