Do not distrust or doubt my love,
For it is yours to hold,
It is there to warm your heart,
When all the world seems cold.
I would stand upon the wind,
And whisper there your name,
So every one who felt her touch,
Would know from where it came.
My own emotions are sometimes dull,
As life has made that so,
Darling always know I love you,
Even though it does not show.
I will be your true best friend,
Your man and also lover,
For after all you are my heart,
And there could never be another.
