Voices of Heaven

The voices of heaven,
Whisper softly as she sleeps,
Brush away all of her teardrops,
Leaving kisses on her cheeks.

A guardian in white,
With beautiful velvet wings,
Shields her from her demons,
And protects her while she dreams.

A being sent from heaven,
To keep her safe from harm,
To hold her while she cries,
Safely in his arms.

He was sent here to guide her,
And to teach her how to fly,
And he'll always be right there,
Beside her in the sky.
