He walks on shadows thorns
Footprints barely visible in night's powdered cradle
He's no picaresque tale, no dying child of monochrome
He breathes in ethos, sleeping for the undead
Always falling for fatalistic foreplay
Somehow always knowing what
goes on behind locked doors
He moves silently; son of a wraith
Seeking love unconciously in all forms of bitter black.
Juxtaposition in me:
Splintered, Pulsing, Worthless, Foolish, Static, Virgin
He laughs, always craving the forbidden
liquor that dwells in my veins
Another alluring hint of mystery's breath
So precious, this dark angel's heart to me
He will never tell anyone where he goes
I will never know, only watching from
beyond locked doors, only desiring a single touch
He walks through the night
Bottomless eyes, hollow drifter
He blends into the mist
Pyrokinetic soul, always alone
Flashes of beauty and meance, then he's gone again
Only his lingering scent as a souvenir
See how my heart loses its wings when he goes
Always waiting, I can never have him
Only Discord's teasing sensation on my lips-
Was that a shadow of him that just speared
my Desire?

See how my heart loses its wings when he goes. Thant's my favorite line hear.
It's a bit sad but the beautifull way it's written takes away some of the sadness.
A very fine work of art.
luv, huggs, faith, hope,

What a mystery to unravel, what an adventure to take love's tumble with a stranger most darkly and hidden deep in the whirls of fantasy pits. It is normal I guess for a girl to take on a love of a mysterious man and for a guy to love the wake of a mysterius dame..for is it not instilled in us each and every one a thirst unquenchable for an adventure unknown and most sublime...a mystery in exercise. Just a caution mind you... know well wnough of this choice you make for just as mysterious as hurtful it can become...ha ha ha....LOL...ohhh... for the love of the lovely mysterious lady ridin gaway in that shuttered coach, how I rode on for miles to wrest from her just a smile.... |

Simply put, one amazing poem! So magical and mysterious with great (and I mean it) great imagery! The person in this poem wondering, was this a dream. Was it even real. Least that's what I got.
Thank you for a sensational read.
