The Apple and the Orange

Contributed by Chade on Wednesday, 14th April 2004 @ 05:44:00 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

The apple and the orange make such a wonderful pair.
Sitting up in their tree, looking up at each other through the quaint breeze.
And when the wind blows, down they fall
In a whirling bustle of ripe plums.
And so they lay on the ground, side by side deciding how they would fly.
As they moved towards one another,
One gets picked up and the other gets harder.
And so passes the apple and the orange through their later years.
Until they meet again
At the bottom of a river bend.
