Sometimes I wish there were more of "ME,"
so much to do in little time,
All I hear is Mommy,Mommy,Mommy,
not answering would be a crime,
The baby needs fed,and the diaper changed again,
the boys are fighting, and wont stop,
the dogs are barking & wont come in,
the kitchen floor needs a mop,
I need more of me to go around here,
or maybe a thousand more hands,
anyone have a few to spare,
someone out there who understands,
I'm just being a mom of three,
and trying to get the house work done,
all I hear is Mommy,Mommy,Mommy,
when can I make room for fun?
I need more of me to spare,
to get it all done in a day,
some would probably not care,
who said it was easy anyway?
I love being a mom dont get me wrong,
I just need more time or more hands,
one more of me & I'll get along,
I'm sure someone understands!

You need a nanny and a maid. Mommy's are busy, busy, busy. How do you do it? How do mom's do it? I dunno but I sure am impressed. This poem expresses your feelings and your love for your children.
I heard a song today that said---"Remember when footsteps sounded like music" Well if you think ahead one day you'll miss those little footsteps that are keeping you wildly busy at the moment.
Moms should have the title of "chairwoman" cause you do just about every occupation in a single day.
Loved your poem...

Oh heavens, I remember those days when you meet your self turning around. Never enough time, or hugs, or kisses. No time to bathe or go to the store until forced. God, how I love being a grandmother now! LOL
All the love and no work. (sorry, couldn't resist, but I served my time).
hugs sweetie,
Rita |

Great poem about the demands of being a mum and feeling the need to have more than you to fulfil this role, an oasis of comfort and reassurance to all the mums out there well written |
