Her hands rapidly moving
the yarn changing form
into a colorful mitten
to match the other
the yarn so warm
so fuzzy and comfy
keeping my hands dry
from the cold wet snow
she told me they were mine
she looked in my eyes
and knew i was happy
making me mittens
was like her job or something
if i was the one who payed her
i would have payed her well too
she was always so happy
helping my hands
so i could play in the snow
but now her hands lie still
and my hands are O so cold
