Sometimes
Sometimes we look to hard to find
a heart to love and a hand that's kind.
Sometimes the knock at emotions gate
can be considered to arrive to late.
Sometimes all that's needed is a vision
and the will to make a decision.
Sometimes the smile in someone's eyes
is enough to calm the heart that sighs.
Sometimes experiencing simple pleasure
can be the reward of a special treasure.
Sometimes like now, words can fail
though it fills the soul like wind in a sail.
Sometimes there is no need for lusty desire
only the gentle touch to spark a fire.
Sometimes.
