The words we use,
Are the words we abuse.
The things we say ,
We live to pay.
The food we eat,
Does us keep.
The life’s we lead,
Can be full of greed.
The lust we fill,
Will only be from the will.
The love we give,
Can be the love we receive.
But the hatred that we conceive,
Is always the greed we need.

i definitely agree with the 1st 2 lines. i get so annoyed with everyone treating language with such disregard. grr. anyway, great poem!
