Will You Survive?

Contributed by kandis on Tuesday, 13th April 2004 @ 02:07:26 PM in AEST
Topic: InspirationalPoems

Are you like the wind,
Changing everyday?
One day you’re feeling strong,
The next, you’re blown away?
With no problems on the horizon,
Rock solid is your claim.
Then storm clouds start forming,
And running is your game.
Too many distractions,
To lure you from the path.
During temptations, when you need God most,
Is when, on Him, you turn your back.
When push comes to shove,
Just how will it end?
Will your determination break,
Or will it just bend?
When the storms and strife have passed,
Where will you be?
Will you be tainted by your sins,
Or will you be found clean?
The choice is up to you,
On others, do not cast blame.
God will not put too much on you,
For He said He knows your frame.
When the trials of life are over,
Just where will you stand?
Will it be hell that you will face,
Or will it be a Heavenly land?
I pray for your survival,
For your strength and endurance, too.
For I wish to meet you in Heaven,
Somewhere beyond the blue.
