Tears That Fall

Contributed by Tiny_mo on Tuesday, 13th April 2004 @ 01:26:36 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

Tears that fall to the ground,
slip away through the floor.
As they fall from my eyes,
They leave stains on my face
that nothing can wash away.
As I look in the mirror, I see
swollen eyes and a tear streaked face.
I see memories behind my eyes
that no tear can remove.
The memories just remain there,
Waiting for a chance to pop back
into my mind.
Pop back just so I'll have to cry again.
How can I stop these tears from falling?
How can I make these memories stop
being so painful?
That is a mystery that will never be solved.
I guess there will always be
Tears That Fall.

Beautiful again. The memories fade with new ones, of happier times and greater loves. Yes time measures it for us. Thanks for sharing.
