NO Contest!

Contributed by Unaekseveer1 on Thursday, 26th September 2002 @ 04:20:00 PM in AEST
Topic: AngryPoetry

Refusing to take part in the game
Recognised you are as simply the same
A saddened smile appears underlining my nose
When always there is comeback just like supposed
Not a game this thing attempting to do
And if it were to think I'd be challenged by you!
Don't flatter yourself not at all becoming
If tempted to play you'd be not in the running
Try to control your testosterone
So immature with the way you constantly moan
It's all about me and how badly I'm treated
Only proving just how you're so easily defeated
Give up whilst you may still appear ahead
Repeating the things you've only recently read
Listen very well to what this writing does say
Don't even attempt a taunt for me to play
For if I was to lift your tiny gauntlet
Your odds so long you'd pay the forfeit
If I wished to, if I choose this
All will hear your pathetic excuses
No need to employ the physical
Thine words shall reduce thee to more miserable
I brush you off, irritating little pest
Into the winds you are and always were NO contest!

how this speaks of your feelings, but still a great write. It seems there's a person like that I'm aware of that likes to do things as such. But I will just leave it at that for now.
hope it got out of your system, and you are feeling better.
Amber Rose :)

Yes Amber,

Venting in this way relieves pent up frustration in the proper non-agressive way, I believe anyway!

With love
Dean;-)

Dean, I love this poem. I really enjoyed reading it. I tend to vent my anger by writing poetry, well at least now I do. When I was younger I didn't have such a good control on my temper. I do have a really bad temper. It comes from my back ground. But in resent years I have learned to control my temper, which has kept me out of trouble.

Luckily Candice,
I've always been able to be in complete control of my lack of bad temper!
I choose to use words instead of the physical side, that way finding it easier to calm a situation before it even arises!
I'm pleased you liked this one also.

With love
Dean:-)

Dean, you are very lucky indeed not to have a very bad temper. I know from personal experence that a bad temper can only get you into trouble. It took me many years to learn how to control it, I am so glad that I have learned. I think I am a much better person now. Some times my temper will get the best of me, but not very often, and usually only when some one has done something to send me to the boiling point. But I do have Irish, Italian, and a few other things in me that has given me such a bad temper. I am just one on the lucky ones that have learned to control it.
