Trapt teenager

Contributed by xoblondiebabix3 on Tuesday, 13th April 2004 @ 12:14:59 AM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

Im just an innocent person
A child
Just afraid of growing up
I look at my past
And the person I use to be
Wondering if Ill ever be that girl again
The girl I loved so much
Why cant people realize
That deep down inside
Im just an innocent child
Trapt in a teenagers body
Of a teenager I dont want to be
I want to be happy again
What happened to those days
When there was always a smile on my face
A smile that was real
Not a coverup for dark depression
I just wish I could awaken
To the girl I loved
But every morning I awake
To the same girl
Ive tried so hard
To go back
But I just keep failing
I sometimes think its impossible
I keep falling into the darkness
Never reaching the light that I havent seen for so long
When will it show on me
Im so trapt
Get this teenager out of me
Its hopeless

wow, this is sad but really well written.
It's useually hard on everyone when u go thru adolescence.
Hang tuff, u can make it.
U did a great job of discribing your inner emotions.
Luv, huggs,
emy

awesome...I really liked this one.
It just felt like TOTALLY honest and all.
Hold on tight, i'm pretty sure one day that little girl will find it's way back out.
Pity mine hasn't yet...*rolls her eyes*

Why bother to look to the future
If it always comes soon enough?!?!?

Being a teenager is really tough. Time seems to stop when you are constantly bombarded with everything and changes come like seconds.

Believe it or not it won't last forever. Just look at me I made it to 28!

Hang in there okay?

Enjoyed this poem very much..

Such a pretty yet tragic write =)
I sometimes feel the same way..
I sit and wonder who it is I have become, and think about how much of a stranger I really am to myself.
It's frightening =)
