whispers upon the wind

Contributed by ladyfawn on Monday, 12th April 2004 @ 11:06:28 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

there on a rock she sat contemplating
deep, deep far into the deepest forest,
thundering hooves sounding on distant
hills, as warriors raged on in unrest,
told to hide there until they returned
to hush and nay not even whisper upon the wind,

earthy etheral scents wafted up to her
she bethought of this long way traveled,
these vivid dreams of longing she held,
now their village moved northwardly
this new world so beautiful yet deadly,
sunrises that looked like the morning in his eyes,

trees held whispered echos of chain mail
will the men return or endungeoned be?
knights and horses clad in heavy armour
lady faire wonders what of her will be,
is he safe? oh where, the one she adores?
branch breaks; horse snorts; she loves him to her core,

later on that rock they held one another
deep forest deep; tightly each to the other,
cantering hooves sounding on claimed land
all warriors dismounting; hers in his hand,
victory! new homes to be built; kisses sweet
a hush; whispers upon the wind in bliss; when lips meet.

What a captivating tale of love....you painted such a vivid picture, like an artist upon a canvas. Heartwarming and leaves me in the midst of a long...sighhhhhh.

If it were possible to be transported into a fairytale and slip beneath a ladys skin, I have experienced it.

I saw everything you described in my mind.

I am your forever fan and I BEG for more.

You wouldn't want to see a grown woman beg would ya?

*Begs shamelessly for more*

How about puppy dog eyes?

Can't wait till the next one...

Kie
