I suffer from vitaphobia
Cause I’m afraid of life
Everyday a horrific night
I’m starting to dwell in the tunnel
And lose sight of the light
That’s why I’m here
Suffering from
The horrors of despair
Sitting in my chair
Contemplating life
And why I never got my share
Life ain’t fair
Cause I might have
But I didn’t know it
So I abused it
I’m so confused
How could I finally care
And get my chance
But get my cards taken
In the middle
Of placing my bets
So I left the game
And went to war with myself
And started to rebuild
With the Lords help
Then I saw you again
And every emotion
That I had ever felt
Came back
In a rush
Again I longed for your touch
I thought I had gotten over that
I wonder why I cared so much
I know better
But I lost control
I’m broken
But I wanna be whole
I wanted to go over
And make sure you were ok
But I couldn’t move in any way
You had my heart
And I wanted it back
But I couldn’t risk
Getting torn apart
Either way the panic starts
That’s why
I suffer from vitaphobia
Cause I’m afraid of life
Everyday a horrific night
I’m starting to dwell in the tunnel
And lose sight of the light
That’s why I return
To see my life
And watch it burn
Cause I’m at war with myself
As I rage the battle within
Desperate I cry
Cause I long to be free
Desperate I cry
As I try to find me
