The Road

The road twists and it turns
What’s around the next bend?
As she travels, she learns
Will her journey ever end?
Up and down
Valleys and hills
A smile or a frown?
The rollercoaster of thrills
Will the sun shine?
Will it turn cloudy and gray?
She will be fine
For God will make a way
The road is set
And it can’t be changed
No matter how she frets
Or how far she’s ranged
What can be chosen?
Will she speed through?
Or practice caution?
How she travel’s the issue
The road’s an experience
She enjoys the changing scenes
She grows with the distance
Not minding the unforseen
