Love, to me , is too much pain
Just another annoying stress in my brain
It is like a thorn in my side
Love is too hurtful, love is suicide
It had done more damage to me than good
It hurts more than it should
Too many time it has torn me apart
And left this huge hole in my heart
To have love in my life is what I yearn
Yet, when I give it a try, it feels like a burn
To be able to have someone to love and to hold
To hug me at Christmas time, to keep me from getting cold
Someone who will always be there
To kiss my lips and run fingers my hair
Will you notice me I do not know
I just want my feelings to show
