Don't Hold onto the Pieces

Daily I call on the Lord,
Always asking for His help.
I’m facing another battle,
And I can’t do it by myself.
These problems just seem too big,
My heart, like it’s about to break.
I pray for mercy and deliverance,
“These burdens from me , please take.”
God said all we have to do is ask,
And with a small seed of faith, believe.
“So, why is it Lord,” I tearfully beg,
“That I haven’t yet received?”
God whispers, “I hear your cries,
Daily falling like the rain.
I gave my Whole self a long time ago,
So that I could take away your pain.”
“I have already proven my love for you,
Broken hearts, I wish to ease.
You’ve handed me your problems,
Yet you’re still holding back a piece.”
“Cast ALL your burdens on the Lord,
Give every piece to me.
When you’ve placed them in my care,
Then, you shall be set free.”

You sure write beautiful spiritual poetry.While reading this,I found a new understanding to one of my problems.Who knows?Maybe God sent me here today to read your beautiful poetry,get inspired and understand things that I sometimes fail to see ...:o)~*5 stars*~
