You can never mess up my mind

Contributed by luckycharm on Monday, 12th April 2004 @ 12:31:05 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

The words of depression are so sad,
If they come from you,
The touch of just your hand,
Can never change you,
The emptiness of you not here,
Can make me feel like nothing,
If your not near,
I'm not wanting,
Not a thing to remind me,
Of what could be,
Between you and me,
Don't you see,
You shoot a arrow through my heart,
We should stay apart,
And when the blood rushed out,
It was not a doubt,
That I would stay with you,
Someone tell me who I should run to,
To get over the pain of loving you,
Your words hit me like lighting,
And now I'm fighting,
My way out of this,
Life which is not it,
For me,
The possibilities,
Of living this life alone,
Would be so cold,
I have to tell that I hate,
How you messed up our fate,
I use to love looking into your brown eyes,
And imaging that one day you would be mine,
Now I don't wan't that anymore,
It was before,
Everything wen't downhill,
You were still,
Here for me through my hard times,
Now it's hard not to cry,
I did everything in my power to help you,
But this is it I'm through,
With the pain,
And being ashamed,
Of walking somewhere,
Nowing you would never be there,
To help me,
Or save me,
I have to get you to realize,
That you can never mess up my mind

I, too, hope you start to feel better, Pam. You should never let anyone get you down.

Lindsey

PS. Wonderful write!
