Blood-stained tears flow from empty wells
As I sit in the dark,
Silently enduring the sufferring that
my pain and anguish cause.
The anguish that consumes me
like flames consume even the
mightiest of structures...
the mightiest of fortresses.
It consumes me until nothing
is left of me but a crumbling skeleton
of what once was real...
A mere skeleton of my former self.
