I can't count the times I've regretted,
The memories with you are forever embedded,
Because I was the idiot that caused this hurt,
But now I feel the pain for 10 times it's worth.

An apology could never be enough,
Not when remembering is so hard, so rough,
But I hurt you, and I'm truely apologetic,
It shouldn't have happened, but it did, I let it.

I wish I could go back, fix it for us,
I should have never abused your trust
I swear, it's not that I meant to, really,
But I did it, and still it kills me.

I don't know how much your heart was broken,
I hate to think of the words I've spoken,
And worse the words I've yet to tell,
Could create the tears to fill my wishing well.
