She sits alone at the bar.
High up on the wooden stool
her silky legs
gracefully crossed
bobbing impatiently.
She stirs her drink
clinks of ice colliding,
spinning the tiny straw.
The smoke from her cigerette
slithers.
Her gaze silently slides
through the pandemonium.
She is hiding something.
There is something that she wants.
Her finger slowly cocks
as he hypnotically approaches.
Leaning closely in
heat of breath burning.
"I have a secret," she wispers.
A mischevious smile curves,
"I stole all the cherries."
Gesturing towards the bar.
Recieving a look of suprise
yet suddenly intruiged.
I envy her.
She is the pink lady
amoung a sea of studs.

I don't know if this is a poetic masterpiece but if you make a book out of it I want to read the rest. :-) |
