Knotted Inside

Contributed by sheri on Sunday, 11th April 2004 @ 09:50:37 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

Darkness encompasses me complete
I haven't heard your voice in weaks
how could you leave me
with the memories of your rage
those silent lonely days
when I only wanted to be in your good grace
now I hear I have been replaced
so swiftly my pressence in your heart is erased
how could you take my love
and leave none for me
so many times I wished you'd end my misery
midnight bells toll throughout the valley
sleep eludes me and I cry for you
but I don't want you here
watching my pain with shallow eyes
please I just want to move past all your lies
I am free but knotted inside
so delicate from surly and arid abuse
will love find me again
if your essence still swims in my head.

yes. love WILL find you again. i know exactly how you feel, and no matter how bad it gets, and no matter how desperate you become, know you can always turn to god. loosing someone who provides structure and attention, even negative attention, is ALWAYS painful. but it dosn't have to be the end. AWESOME poem! i love the descriptiveness and the emotion. keep it up and hang in there!
