A strange addiction to something red
Blood Dolly liked to play with the dead
She stared and watched the sullen abuse
She was mystified by the thick sweet juice
Trickling down his skin
Releasing crimson beauty from deep within.
Beginning to wonder why it was so rare
To herself she made a silent prayer
Blood Dolly swore to make a collection
Of the finest bloods catered to perfection
She went about her daily routine
Forgetting not to worship the Dolly Queen.
Soon the amounts began to grow
Blood Dolly's heart began to glow
Proud and amazed by her achievement
She misunderstood her victim's bereavement
Who would mind sharing their blood and life
For dear Blood Dolly, a friend of the knife.

this is a great poem.........i like the way you wrote it in free verse....chilling and dark but that the kind of poetry i like so keep up the good work
