In the Show

Contributed by broken-glass on Sunday, 11th April 2004 @ 02:06:47 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

Give me 'me' back,
I belong to me,
with you in my life,
it will always feel like 'three',
I'm a loner at heart,
need to be alone.
I've always been my company,
you've never been in the 'show'.

It's been three dark cold days,
still waiting for your call,
I'm beginning to wonder,
if you love me at all,
I'm frozen in time, and internal rhyme,
internal bleeding I'm filth I'm like slime.

I hate all these people,
clouding my town,
this house is so crowded,
this smiles is so frowned,
the phone isn't ringing,
I'm close to the edge,
my life is a building,
I'm sitting on the ledge.

Summer is coming,
but it still feels so cold.
You would have called if I were Brandon,
now I'm writhered and old.
I always wanted to be talented,
an exception to the rule,
but I forgot that I am special,
and just as good as you.

"I'm frozen in time, and internal rhyme, internal bleeding I'm filth I'm like slime."
