Something hit the cold ground.
*****! just me again.
How could it happen one more time,
I thought we'd become friends.
Something hard knocked me flat.
Damn! I believe it was you.
Does a thousand pathetic sorries
make up for all you do.
Something black has fallen down.
My God! just my heart.
There goes another sweet promise,
another fresh start.
Something angry slammed a door.
Yeah! just my hand.
Look how tall a back can look
when it's allowed to stand.

| Believe it or not..this almost brought me to tears. I had what I assumed was a good friendship once..however...it was a one sided friendship and I ended up getting so hurt.....what a powerful poem this is.. |
