Sifting inside to out
Shut me down
Saw a blank face
Scratched in a frown.
It’s a welcoming dream side
A wide open free rife
Give a sign to the light
Push clay into a life.
It all floods around
When it all comes down
Help it cry out
All the fish drown.
You wave to a day
Like you always do
Blue eyes and they scream out
Counting to two.
Sticks scratch to the seams
For flowers I weave
Clock faces will bring
The world to its knees.
Resurrection come revolt
Simplify chances and de-salt
Self-enchantment by default
Ignorance for the suns malt.
Scales will not fall, into a rift
For the air in a vile, minimal kiss
Cancel rhetoric words from the list
Whatever is left, use it to sift.
