As I walk down a road quite familiar to me,
A luminous haze casts over the trees,
And as I ponder on my toadstool,
In the middle of this miserable paradise,
I think to myself, as I begin to tell:
The answer’s obvious with a shotgun at your head.
As the truth spills into my thoughts,
This, just a feeling of what it could be,
Like as if it was now reality,
But snapped back from that perplexity,
I learned the world is not as we see,
But a just very big mess, that seems to work out
So real or not,
Your life is a life and you’ve only got one shot,
And this is why I shan’t t believe,
That what will be will be.
As the road gets longer,
The journey may get worse,
As it leads me into this wonderful curse,
That I call life,
But maybe all this travel,
Down the wrong road,
This path with which I have been deceivingly mistaken,
Will build me up for what I need to be,
As my past, my future, everything seems to flee.
Just when it got harder,
Another realization became clear to me:
But at the end of this road…
I stumbled upon a stream,
Which grew to a river in which,
A silent gloom radiated off the depths of its ominous waters,
Which raged with a fury so mighty,
I became entranced in it’s simplistic beauty.
And as I got buck-naked and waded into the water,
The freezing condition, seemed warm and soothing,
As I submerged myself into an Aquarius world of serenity,
Which soon infiltrated the crevices of my mind,
And before I rose,
I said to myself,
Oh baby if I could change the world.
I would make it so…because I now believe,
That what will be will be.
