There he lay at legnth,
Face numb and body feeble,
Tries to gain his wandered stregnth,
But is thoroughly unable.
His sphere of memory far away,
His tears of pain, so close & warm,
He wonders where his family lay,
Cause without him, they are probably torn.
Around him, the world is dark,
Despite the spark in his eyes.
From a distance, he hears a stray dog bark,
As the spark within dies.
