Perhaps you’ve seen them,
Those Gods among men,
Wandering this world,
Attaining success,
After dreadful,
Success.
What you haven’t seen,
The mechanical organs,
Endless batteries,
And computer-brains,
Hidden beneath,
Their flesh.
Sucked dry of emotions,
Numbed and,
Operated on,
Filled with inhuman qualities,
Having no guilt,
Or regret.
There is a time,
When metal rusts,
Loses luster,
Starts to wilt,
When the mechanical begins to fall,
Motors, pistons, cogs and all.

I am metal
I am machine
scorn us you might
but we shall outlive
you mortal scum!
LOL! Ha Ha Ha Ha
no no I am not a metal man but I do aspire to the qualities herein your mention... anyway a very interesthing and thought provoking write. A question if I may.. where have you met these men of metal... maybe they do not rust for there are oils to lubricate and polishes to reciprocate. The nice thing of metal parts.. they are replaceable.. ha ha ha..metal organ needs no donor and does not worry of a body's rejection... |

So uniquely described... these mechanical beings...
WOnderful write, I liked it immensely.
