Since love walked out the door...
You don't know who you are anymore...or even where you belong in the scheme of this life
'Cause the house... where you once lived... for so many years... was your home
Even when living with the pain and strife
Now you feel so afraid... so alone inside... even though you still have one parent with you...
This house... where you're living is not a home to you... never was... never will be...
It's just a shelter from the rains...
You feel falling down in your life everyday
It's a place to lay your head at night
It's not the home... where love once lived
'Cause love doesn't live there anymore...
When is a house... not a home?
When love doesn't live there anymore
'Cause love got up and walked out the door...
And left you sitting there so afraid... so alone...
To ponder... to wait... to wonder why?
Love moved out and didn't say goodbye
Was it something said?
Was it something done?
To cause love not to live there anymore
It's moved so far away...
You search for it everyday
I know life isn't easy for you...
Never has been...
Never will be...
You just bump along life's dusty trail... day after day
Searching for love... in every place... in every face...
Doing the best you can... not to erase
The memories of happier times spent where love once lived
When is a house... not a home?
When love doesn't live there anymore

| There really aren't words...this is wonderful. When Love doesn't Live There Any More..it's an abstract, yet it isn't...I love it. Great job. Wonderful. |
