she stares wide eyed
theres a glimmer of hope
but i tend to keep focus
eyes on the floor
shes asking for too much
i can't even look myself
in the mirror
if she had ever loved me
i would never know
still i pull closer to her
she takes it further
don't touch me
whispers her voice
theres no truth in it
everyone needs
i heard her waste her
tears and suffering
i closed the door to
let her finish bleeding
needless to say
i fell to the floor and wept
it's hard to see
the secret you kept
don't waste time
walking in on my needing
i must have been proud
to finally have a close view
of what my eyes had seen in you
take a good look around
i must have been born tonight
i dont want to rise back up
from this heartbreak
that lies on the floor
with the blood that you spilled
i dont want to live with this pain that you filled
