Bloody knuckles, signs of struggle
Rope burn from head to toe
Beaten bruised and battered bluntly
Every scar shows.
Verbal assault inside my head
A brick wall I’m butting at
Ravaging every ounce of strength
Struggling to find what is left.
Threats, they echo in my head
Bounce back and forth
When no one apologizes
For what it’s worth.
Body shaking violently
Thrown into convulsions on the floor
The days activities wearing deeply
You think it’s bad now, guess what’s in store.
