Grief

Tempting is such
to try and fix my broken luck
This can of gasoline
and this matchstick for safety
will soon become the life of me
Feeling like a jar of flies
sitting on your window sil
This is as close to you
as i'll ever be
Trying this much
to try and mend my broken luck
This dry taste of failure
still lingers in the air
I can't get the smell out of my clothes
this stale scent of memory
You still linger around
as if i know what to say
